There’s nothing like the thrill of competition!

Our competition team invites ambitious dancers who love to challenge themselves to prepare and perform in front of an audience.

Recent competitions attended included Celebrity, A.S.H., DanceMakers, Groove, 24/7, Open Call, Intrigue, Nexstar, Hall of Fame, Starbound, Starpower, Starquest, Kids Artistic Revue, Applause, Encore, League of Champions, Energy National and Legacy Dance Championships.

2026-2027 Season

Participation is by audition-only.

RSD auditions will be held at the Rochester School of Dance studios, 1800 S. Livernois, Rochester, MI on Friday, Aug. 14, 2026 beginning at 4:30 PM. $25 Cash Audition fee is required for all auditions.

4:30-5:30 PM (Ages 8-12)
5:30-6:30 PM (Ages 12-18)

For those who were unable to attend the audition, please call the school to arrange a private audition class.
