Michigan Ballet Theatre is incorporated as a nonprofit
organization. It is a student company of exceptionally
talented dancers representing the advanced dancers of
the Rochester School of Dance and Cornelia's School
of Dance as well as dancers drawn from an open audition.
The Company's purpose is to develop the technical and
artistic skills required of dancers seeking a professional
career and to present quality full scale dance productions.
As resident company, we hope to partially fulfill the
demand for cultural enrichment in Michigan and give
our talented youth the opportunity to perform and grow
through dance. The Company performs several times per
year. In addition to regular performances with local
symphonies and an annual performance of the Nutcracker,
MBT offers lecture demonstrations for public and private
schools and performs for civic and cultural organizations.
Participation in MBT is by audition or invitation by
the Artistic Director. Follow the link to learn more
